Emergency Aid

The Department of Transitional Assistance provides some emergency assistance to income-eligible families facing homelessness and  administers the state Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC), food stamp, and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) programs. The following offices serve towns in Worcester County.
